If there were a few more hours in the day I would have commented and/or posted on this myself. Soooooo many people don't even know what RSS is and it remains the most valuable information management tool that I have in my networking/marketing/information-sharing toolbox.

When Oprah does a show on the RSS feed, then we'll know it's hit the mainstream. Until then, I will have to agree to disagree with all the death-knelling going on with the techie-hipsters.

Call me "old-school" (again) when I say I still love the good ol' fashioned telephone AND I'll be hanging on to my RSS feed reader, which in my opinion, has PLENTY of life left in it.

Best,
-Renee

Re: Blog Platform Wars: WordPress 2.0 vs. Drupal 4.7

I have used both and would say wordpress is far easier to use for the beginers.

Re: Affiliate Blogging: Hosting Considerations

In fact, their ease of use and quality of customer support is one of the major reasons lunarpages stand out

Re: GrokDotCom’s Blog-Powered Newsletters

Hi, Bob ...

We used the following:
- to pull the author description we used the_author_description()
- to link to their posts we used the_author_posts_link()
- to pull in related posts we used this plug - http://rmarsh.com/plugins/s...

Thanks for asking! These formats are leftover from the older print days, but they no longer necessary for readability online. To keep things streamlined, most online programs (including WP) is ignore the extra formatting.

Also, while its WYSIWYG is better, it sometimes doesn't display the post as it will be finally rendered. We recommend that you use the Preview button so you can see what it will look like before you publish.

Good luck! Now when I say long, I'm talking in excess of 100 pages.

I am excited that this will consitute a couple of months of blog posting, but I am wondering if there is any software that will take the document, split it up, and then schedule posting.

There is something called WhizFolder (I think) that has a watch command, so that anything that gets saved into the 'folder' then gets published. That is great, now I'm wondering if I will need to make two softwares work together, or is there a one software solution anyone has heard of....?
thanks

a

Re: 3 Reasons to Blog for Business

Definitely the appropriate given reasons are true because it is a very helpful source of communication between themselves and public as well as the Business also we can share our own feelings.
